The Katsha Foundation

Ugandans Giving A Hand-Up To Other Fellow Ugandans and to Africa

The Katsha Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Katsha Group, launched with the vision of Ugandans giving a hand-up to other fellow Ugandans, no matter their race or creed.

The foundation is dedicated to providing care and solace to those in need, working to implement long-term, sustainable community development programmes in underprivileged communities, as well as to offer immediate disaster relief and assistance to crisis-stricken households.

The Katsha foundation has been involved in numerous heart-warming projects across Uganda, South Africa and other Countries in Africa, Asia and in the Middle East , such as supporting animal welfare groups and orphanages, to feeding the hungry by delivering two million meals to desperate families.

Through its various education, health and nutrition programmes, the foundation seeks to leave a positive and lasting legacy in the communities it serves, sharing the message that all lives are worthy, and providing much-needed hope for a brighter future.

Katsha Debank & Family (The Katsha Foundation)

It makes sense that a man whose business is building communities would feel compelled to support community betterment too.

When Katsha Debank started The Katsha foundation over 15 years ago, he knew it wasn’t just about the houses; it was about the community as a whole. It was important to him that the design, infrastructure and amenities of each development would not only foster connection but help the community to thrive and strengthen through the decades.

Katsha Debank comes from a Small Royal family of hardworking in Uganda, community-minded siblings who all inherited a generous spirit from their loving parents, Monica Namisango and Nassiri Ssekitoleko Debank. As the proud father of Three (3) children, Katsha Debank knows the Debank tradition of contributing and giving back will continue on through many generations.

Whether Katsha Debank is in a boardroom or on his Office, his mind is working and designing and imagining — mostly about how things could be improved or made better. He shares this quality with the incredible leaders and teams behind each and every charity the Foundation is honoured to support.

The Katsha Foundation was formed in 2016 and its philanthropic impact in communities all over the world has been developing ever since. With each charitable gift granted, no matter the size, we hope to inspire a ‘ripple-effect’ of meaningful generosity.
